First blog post

I’ve written a book and been told that in order to get it published I need to build an audience. Therefore I want to be friended and liked and followed and linked-on Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and YouTube and Flickr and LinkedIn-on all the social media I can possibly find!

Remarkably,  the antagonist of my novel seeks to be liked, just like me.

“Facebook “likes,” after all, are public, tangible, and reassuring—a statement of a person’s social status.

No matter how many Nora got, the feeling of actually being liked, eluded her.”
